Intelligence Report
QuickSpotCheck is your digital co-pilot for FPV flight. This guide explains the nuances of our analysis systems and how to get the most out of your pre-flight briefs.
Why does the app say 'GPS Signal Low'?
For flight safety, 'Quick Check' requires high-precision GPS (within 20 meters). If you're in a built-up area, under heavy tree cover, or indoors, accuracy drops and we disable live recommendations. You can still use 'Planning Mode' to manually select your site and request a 'Smart Site Assessment' for your chosen location. Tip: To improve live signal, move away from tall structures and ensure a clear view of the sky.
Why does the Spotchecker sometimes not connect?
Our 'Smart Brief' is powered by Gemini, an advanced AI. Like any high-performance shared resource, it has capacity limits. During periods of extremely high demand, it will prioritise system stability, which might result in a temporary 'Comms Jammed' message. Don't worry, your Tactical Radar (map and raw data) remains fully operational during these times.
What's the difference between the subscriptions?
Guests can view the map with basic hazards and airspace restrictions. Registered users (Free) unlock 5 AI Smart Briefs per month and have additional access to SSSI, SAC and SPA restrictions (while credits remain). Premium (when launched) will offer unlimited AI briefs, unrestricted map access and exportable flight risk assessments with logs.
